Person accused of stealing and crashing ambulance in Schenectady due in court

Adam Cole expected to appear in court

The person who is accused of stealing an ambulance in Cobleskill and crashing it in Schenectady under the influence of drugs a few weeks ago, Adam Cole, is expected to appear in court.


He is being charged with assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of stolen property.

He is also ticketed for drugged driving.


The 25-year-old allegedly stole the ambulance after telling EMS workers there was a second medical emergency nearby.


Cole led investigators on a chase, and at one point, he left the patient out at a gas station.


The chase ended after Cole crashed into another car at Eastern and Brandywine Avenues.
