Equinox has announced it is shifting its focus and resources from the annual Thanksgiving dinner to year-round food security. The Thanksgiving dinner will have a new partner for the first time, with Regional Food Bank taking over.

The food bank is well-equipped to ensure that families and people in need receive the support and nourishment they need, according to Equinox.

Working with partner sites throughout the Capital Region, the food bank will host several drive-thru style distributions the weekend before Thanksgiving, featuring a combination of food boxes and prepared meals, while Equinox solely focuses on its year-round food security initiative.

The CEO of the Regional Food Bank said he is grateful to the team at Equinox for all they have done to assist neighbors in need for 54 years.
