The Columbia-Greene Humane Society is hosting an interfaith blessing of animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis. St. Francis is the patron saint of all animals.

The Columbia-Greene Humane Society is hosting an interfaith blessing of animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis. St. Francis is the patron saint of all animals.

All animals are welcome, including leashed dogs, cats and small animals in carriers, and horses and livestock on trailers.

You can bring also bring photos of animals, organizers said.

It’s happening Sunday, Oct. 6 at the shelter, rain or shine, starting at 12:30 p.m.
