Equine Advocates in Valatie is home to more than eighty rescued and retired horses, donkeys and mules on a sprawling property of 140 acres. Every year, the animal sanctuary hosts a gala to financially support its rescue efforts and aftercare for the equines. The 23rd annual gala features Grammy Award winner Darlene Love, who will perform at PS21 in Chatham on Saturday, September 28.
