Whitehall man, 63, accused of pointing gun
A 63-year-old Whitehall man is accused of pointing a gun at a person.
State Police responded to a disturbance on Sept. 20 around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Poultney Street in Whitehall. Troopers said the victim was attempting to enter his property, when Richard T. Corsetti allegedly showed the gun. Corsetti did not know the victim, police said.
Corsetti followed police commands and was arrested at the scene. The gun was illegally possessed, police said.
Corsetti was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. He was released on an appearance ticket and due in Whitehall Town Court on Nov. 13.
