More than 1,000 students visited a potential spot where they could work in the future.
They stopped by the National Grid Operations Center in Schenectady.
The students saw firsthand all that goes on there, including the latest technology.
The students visited from Capital Region BOCES, Girls Inc., Northern Rivers, Hudson Valley Community College and Schenectady schools.
The advice to all these students was to study math and study science.
