The NewsChannel 13 team was recognized Friday for its excellent work.

The New York State Broadcasters Association honored the best broadcasting in Upstate New York and NewsChannel 13 took home top honors in several categories. 

Our team, led by General Manager Jon Hitchcock, was honored at the annual luncheon.

We took top honors for Outstanding Live On-Scene Reporting for our coverage of the Albany Med Lockdown, Outstanding Feature News Story for our profile of Sgt. Eddie Ryan and his desire to get to a marine’s reunion in Florida.

We were also recognized for our coverage of the Schoharie limo trial verdict, Outstanding Promotional Announcement, and Outstanding Commercial.
