South Glens Falls woman admits to arson 

A South Glens Falls woman has admitted to setting clothes on fire with a blowtorch during a domestic incident.

Desirae L. Sauter, 40, pleaded guilty on Friday, Sept. 27 in Saratoga County Court to a felony count of fourth-degree arson.  

Sauter set a pile of a man’s clothing on fire in the bedroom of a home on Second Street in South Glens Falls on March 2. A 12-year-old child inside the residence had some breathing problems but did not require medical attention.

Sauter is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 3.
