Troy Police investigate two shootings
Troy Police investigate two shots fired reports. They are not believed to be connected.
Troy Police are investigating separate incidents of shots fired on Thursday evening.
The first one happened around 5:45 p.m. in the area of 6th Avenue and Glen Street. Police said they detained three people for questioning who they believed were involved.
The second shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 8th Avenue and Northern Drive in Lansingburgh. Witnesses told police that the suspect got away in a vehicle before police arrived.
No one was hurt in either incident. Police do not believe the shootings are connected.
