National Grid workers head to Florida to help with Milton recovery

Some National Grid Upstate New York workers are heading to Florida to help with preparations for Hurricane Milton.

Around 160 people have already been helping with restoration efforts for Hurricane Helene since the end of September.

They’ve been in West Virginia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.

With work wrapping up on Helene, the team will now head back to Florida to support recovery from Milton.

A group of 60 workers from Massachusetts will join them.
