An Albany man was sentenced to 20 years in state prison for a deadly prison stabbing back in 1995, according to Westchester County’s District Attorney.

After a five-week trial, a jury found the defendant, Allah-Son-Allah, 54, guilty of manslaughter.

Prosecutors said he used a buck knife to stab Michael Jones, 32, in the chest while both were incarcerated at Sing Sing Correctional Facility.

A co-defendant, Steven Smith, 60, of North Carolina, is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty, earlier this year.
