Victim of fatal Glens Falls fire identified
Police have identified the woman killed in a Glens Falls fire last week.
Janice White, 57, died in the fire at 39 ½ 4th Street on Oct. 2. The fire broke out just after 9:30 p.m. Firefighters had to force their way in and put out the fire in about 10 minutes.
The cause is under investigation, according to Glens Falls Police Detective Lt. Seth French.
“We don’t see anything that’s suspicious or criminal in nature,” he said.
