Police: Bennington man slashed tires outside wedding venue

A Bennington man is accused of slashing the tires of a vehicle outside a wedding venue on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Vermont State Police said the incident happened at around 11:15 p.m. at the business on Middle Pownal Road in Pownal.  

Zack Volpi, 26, was charged with unlawful mischief. He was arrested on Monday, Oct. 7. He is due back in court on Nov. 25.
