Police: Craryville man broke into home, choked victim
A Columbia County man broke into a home and choked someone, state police said.
David A. Grant, 39, of Craryville, forced his way through a bathroom window and struck the victim, according to investigators.

David A. Grant, 39, of Craryville, forced his way through a bathroom window and struck the victim, according to investigators.
The person had an order of protection against Grant, investigators said.
Grant was charged with burglary, two counts of criminal contempt and criminal mischief. He was sent to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
He is due back in court on Oct. 18.
