Alpin Haus one of the northeast’s largest outdoor recreation retailers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its newest property, High Adventure.

The business is located at 1054 Troy-Schenectady Rd in Latham.

“We’re family owned,” said Andy Heck, the owner and president of Alpin Haus. “We have now three generations working in the business. We have a passion for the outdoors, and we’re just excited every year to continue to serve the whole Capital District.”

The event coincided with the Alpin Haus’ annual Ski-toberfest sale, taking place at all three Alpin Haus locations.

Now until this Saturday, Oct. 19, shoppers can find deals on ski apparel and gear.
