A fun activity in Troy’s Knickerbacker Park will help get rid of leftover pumpkins.

County and city leaders are inviting the entire community to a big pumpkin smashing, smushing, and recycling event.

It takes place Sat. Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Early drop-off will be at Troy Department of Public Works on Friday Nov. 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will also be face painting and selfie stations.
