Police: Ravena man arrested for having child pornography

The New York State Police say they arrested Christopher Noto, 39, of Ravena, on child pornography possession charges on October 11.

Authorities say he is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.

The arrest had followed an investigation and execution of a search warrant at Noto’s residence in Ravena on October 11, said police.

Noto was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

Police say he was arrested and processed at State Police of Latham, arraigned at Coeymans Court, and released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
