A young mother from Rensselaer County who is battling an aggressive form of breast cancer will get a little help from her friends on Saturday.

Tonya Wright lives in West Sand Lake with her husband and five kids.

Family and friends will gather at 41 Sports Bar in Lansingburgh from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, to raise money and awareness.

There will be live music, raffles, including tickets to a Giants game, a Jeff Dunham show and a variety of great merchandise.

Organizers encourage people to spend the day, or just stop by for a few minutes.
