Student welders take home prizes at competition

Student welders competed to show off their skills at Hudson Valley Community College.
The New York State Streel Fabricators Association Welding Competition was held on Monday.
Fifty students enrolled in the Welding and Fabrication Associate’s Degree Program participated in a variety of timed, hands-on and virtual welding activities.
First place went to Andrew Yerdon. Second place went to Zyonia Smith, and third place went to Zach Hilt.
