Police: Cohoes man had ghost gun 

A Cohoes man is accused of having a ghost gun.  

Officers responded to the area of Garner Street and Johnstown Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 25 for a report of a man with a gun.  

They found Timothy Gibson, 24, and police said he told them that he had a gun in his pocket. Police found a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun and magazine with seven rounds.  

Gibbons was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He was sent to Albany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
