Police: Ballston Spa man had meth

A Ballston Spa man is accused of possessing meth.

Alexander G. Connell, 38, was stopped for speeding on Washington Street in Saratoga Springs at around 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 9., according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Connell had methamphetamine. He also allegedly was driving with a suspended license.

Connell was charged with one felony count and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as criminal use of drug paraphernalia and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
