Man drowns in Lake George

A man is dead after drowning in Lake George.

It happened early Sunday afternoon at Rogers Rock State Campground in Hague.

Investigators say the 61-year-old victim had a medical emergency while swimming near his boat.

A woman on the boat tried to save him. Campers pulled her from the water.

The man was later found and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released his name, pending notification of family.
