For people interested in model trains, Albany was the place to be.

The Albany Train Show offered more than 100 vendor tables at the Polish Community Center on Washington Avenue Extension.

Organizers say enjoying the sights and sounds of model trains is a great way to get into the holiday spirit. 

They welcomed anyone who is just curious, as well as the seasoned collector.
