Albany International Airport shares tips to make holiday travel easier

Albany Airport is asking travelers to arrive to the airport no less than two hours before their flight. Also, you are asked to check in early either online or using your airline's mobile app.

It’s one of the busiest holiday travel periods of the year. Thousands of people are expected to pass through Albany Airport this week for Thanksgiving.

The airport is sharing some reminders to help your travel experience. Albany International Airport is asking travelers to arrive to the airport no less than two hours before their flight.

You are asked to check in early, either online or using your airline’s mobile app.

Make sure you have all your documentation such as your ID and boarding pass.

Make sure you know your gate number, the airport said. You can find it on your boarding pass.

As a reminder, construction is happening right now at the airport for several projects, and there is work being done directly in front of the main terminal. Because of this, lanes in front of the terminal have been reduced, and some vestibules have been closed.
