Saratoga Springs man gets up to 8 years in prison for rape, child porn
A Saratoga Springs man was sentenced to up to 8 years in prison on Thursday on rape and child pornography charges
Michael May, 28, pleaded guilty in November 2023. He was involved in a scheme in which he and his mother would nicotine products and vapes for sexually explicit photos and videos of girls via social media. The incidents happened during December 2022, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney's Office.
He also was arrested in connection with a rape in Malta in January 2021.

He also was arrested in connection with a rape in Malta in January 2021.
May pleaded guilty in November 2023 to promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and rape and was sentenced on Tuesday. The two sentences will be served consecutively for a total prison term of 5 1/3 to 8 years.
