Police: Schoharie woman left child alone in running vehicle

A Schoharie woman is facing charges for allegedly leaving a child alone in a running vehicle.

State Police responded to the Walmart in Cobleskill at around 2:20 p.m. on Nov. 29 for a report of an unattended child in a vehicle in the parking lot. The driver returned to the vehicle before troopers arrived.
Police found the vehicle on Route 7 in Cobleskill. The driver, 33-year-old Angelina M. Adamovich, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The small child was in good health, according to police.

Adamovich is due in Cobleskill Town Court on Jan. 7.
