Glens Falls man allegedly drove drunk with child in vehicle

A Glens Falls man is accused of driving drunk with a child in the vehicle.

State Police stopped a vehicle on Lower Warren Street in Queensbury just before 5 p.m. on Nov 24 at a sobriety checkpoint.

Vernel E. Bauser, 44, was found to be under the influence, police said. A child under the age of 16 was in the vehicle.

Bauser was charged with aggravated DWI, driving while ability impaired by drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.
