Midwife gets probation for handing out fake COVID-19 cards

A midwife was sentenced to 3 years of probation for giving out fake COVID-19 vaccine cards

Kathleen Breault, who worked at Sage Femme Midwifery, provided vaccine cards to people who were not vaccinated. This included minors and non-United States citizens who were not present in the county when they claim they were vaccinated.

Breault was also assessed $100 and must pay $37,414.40 in restitution, which will be split among two other defendants.

The owner of Sage Femme Midwifery, Kelly McDermott, will be sentenced next month. A third defendant, Sherilyn Pellitteri, of Kentucky, is awaiting sentencing.
