Pine Lake, the village’s water source, was shut down completely for several days as engineers tried to figure out why the lake level had dropped 14 feet. Bottled water was handed out and homeowners were ordered to not run water.

The mayor said the village has installed a new pump which has increased the output of the water, but residents are still being asked to conserve.

Water will also dominate the discussion at the Village Board meeting which starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
