The parking rates are going up at Albany International Airport.

The airport announced Tuesday daily parking rates at the lots there will go up incrementally for the first time in five years starting on January 1.

Daily parking rates for the airport’s long-term lots and two parking garages have remained flat since 2019, when they went up by $1.

Here are the new rates, as announced by the airport:

• North and South Garage Parking – $18.00 per day
• Long-Term Parking Lots – $12.00 per day
• Economy Shuttle Lot – $7.00 per day
• There will be no change to the current short-term parking lot rate which is $24.00 per day.
