State museum launching weekday programs for kids and adults.
The New York State Museum is offering free programs four days a week for people of all ages.
The programs celebrate New York’s history, art, and science and are geared for a variety of ages.
Tuesdays at noon are themed around film. People can watch PBS documentaries, archival footage and classic films that spotlight New York’s diverse heritage, artistic accomplishments, and scientific milestones.
At 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays is “Museum Storytime Adventures” – a storytime that ties into the museum’s exhibits.
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. features hands-on activities inspired by reach archival treasures that allow kids dig into the past.
On Fridays at noon, people can visit behind the scenes with the museum’s scientists and historians.
