Bronx man found guilty of killing Pittsfield man in 2018

A Bronx man was found guilty of killing a Pittsfield man back in 2018.

Lance Burke, 46, was convicted of three charges including first-degree murder and two counts of illegal possession of a firearm in the death of David Green Jr.

Green was killed while sitting in his vehicle on Willow Street.

Green’s girlfriend at the time said the killing was because of an ongoing fight with another man, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle.

Prosecutors said that man hired Burke to carry out the murder.

They used video and mobile phone tracking surveillance to pinpoint Burke as the killer.

The first trial in 2024 ended in a hung jury.
