UAlbany to unveil new 9/11 memorial bench

ALBANY – Nineteen alumni from the University at Albany died in the attacks on September 11.

For the first time, the UAlbany campus has a permanent 9/11 memorial. It will formally be unveiled Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

Former students were instrumental in getting it built.

The memorial bench consists of the towers on one side, the Pentagon on the other.
