Hochul discusses illegal guns while in Albany

Gov. Hochul says New York state has more than 20 open investigations into illegal guns.
She talked about this while in Albany Thursday morning.
Hochul says after a months-long investigation, police seized 30 ghost guns.
Several people are under arrest.
So far this year, state police seized 795 guns, that’s a 104% increase compared to last year.

The governor called for special legislative sessions after the Supreme Court ruled against the state’s concealed carry law.
She says new state laws in compliance with that ruling will be coming out as that ruling takes effect in September.
