People in the Capital Region are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this weekend.

Many people lined the streets of Central Avenue in Albany for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Due to Covid, there was no parade for 2 years. Also, last week’s weather delayed the parade by one week. So, those who came to the parade Saturday were eager for the celebration.

The fun continued on Lark Street. At Savoy Taproom, the restaurant had beer specials and was playing Irish music. Across the street at OH Bar, people were decked out wearing green. Many people who came to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day celebrations say they were happy to have a celebration this year.
