1 dead, 1 injured at Halfmoon apartment complex

HALFMOON – An elderly woman was found dead inside a Halfmoon apartment complex Thursday evening. A man was also found with severe injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies say they went to the Bishop Hubbard Apartments on Katherine Drive around 4:45 p.m. Thursday evening for a medical emergency, and found the victims inside one of the units.

There is no word on what caused the woman’s death or the man’s injuries. However, investigators don’t think there is a threat to the public.

Investigators say they plan to release more information at a later time.
