Gov. Cuomo says 10,238 tickets were issued during a statewide 4th of July weekend crackdown. That includes nearly 4,000 tickets for speeding.
The statewide total also beats last year’s 8,214 tickets by more than 2,000.
Capital Region motorists received 838 tickets, with more than 300 for speeding.
