A round of snow falling in the Capital Region

A fast moving system has arrived here in the Capital Region bring steady and sometimes heavy snow.

Eventually, a slushy accumulation is likely as we head through the afternoon. Snowfall amounts will generally be in the 1-3 inch range, with up to 5 inches in higher elevations of the Catskills, Taconics, Rensselaer Plateau, Berkshires and Green Mountains.

The snow will taper off heading into the late evening hours. .
