Absentee ballot counting in the Rensselaer mayoral race will resume on Friday.
There are 129 absentee ballots being challenged. A judge will decide which of those can be counted.
Incumbent Republican Michael Stammel currently leads Democrat Richard Mooney by 11 votes.
New York State Police are investigating allegations of voter fraud in the county dealing with absentee ballots. However, authorities are not releasing the details of that investigation.
