Academy sophomore Kennedy Swedick wins New York State championship

Albany Academy sophomore golfer Kennedy Swedick won the New York State championship at McGregor Links Country Club in Wilton on Monday afternoon. The two-time defending Section 2 champion shot an even par 72 to follow up a first round 72. She finished the tournament even par and four shots ahead of the second place finisher.
