Advocates rallying in Albany for Freedom to Vote Act

There will be calls in Albany on Friday for Congress to pass the Freedom to Vote Act.

Supporters say the bill would expand voter registration, and set standards for early voting and voting by mail. The bill would also establish Election Day as a national holiday.

Friday’s rally begins at noon at the Leo O’Brien Federal Building, where supporters of the bill will be delivering a letter to Sen. Schumer’s Office.
