The Albany County Legislature was hard at work Friday morning, passing out gifts.

Lawmakers, caseworkers and staff joined forces today to start delivering gifts to families who are part of the county’s adopt a family program.

The goal is to help lift their spirits and stop worrying about how they can pay for gifts.

Around 210 kids will get a gift this year.

The South End Children’s Cafe opened in Albany in 2015 to address food insecurity needs in the community.
