Albany County reports 277 new COVID cases

As COVID cases surge across the country, Albany County is also seeing an uptick in cases.
The county reported 277 cases since Monday. That’s up from 141 cases recorded on Sunday.
There are currently 61 people hospitalized, with eight of those people in the ICU.
Of the people hospitalized, 59% are not vaccinated.
There are no new deaths to report, with the death toll remaining at 469 since the pandemic began.
