A sexual predator convicted at retrial could spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Harold Jackson, 56, was sentenced Friday in Albany County Court to 50 years to life in prison.

Jackson was convicted of first-degree rape and criminal sex act.

He had been serving 50-to-life in a maximum security prison in Washington County after he was convicted in 2016.

Then in 2019, appellate justices reversed his conviction, saying the court made a mistake during jury selection.

Last summer at retrial, a jury convicted him again.
