Albany High School to start hydroponic farm

ALBANY – You may wonder why a shipping container was delivered to Albany High School on Friday. It’s actually a hydroponic farm.
The school plans to grow fruits and vegetables inside the container to use in the cafeteria.
Students will also learn how to grow plants without soil.
The freight farm will begin operations once water and electrical hookups are complete.
