An Albany man is facing charges for allegedly burglarizing several businesses this month.

Police say 34-year-old Derrick Buggs is responsible for four burglaries at Central Avenue businesses.

The first one happened on May 20 at Supreme Jewelers, the next was on May 22 at the T-Mobile, the third was on May 22 at the CVS. That same day, he returned to the same CVS just hours later.

Several items were stolen from each business.

Each time, police say Buggs threw a brick at the businesses’ windows to enter.

Buggs was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Wednesday.
