Albany Med requiring COVID vaccinations for all employees

ALBANY – All employees at Albany Med are now required to be vaccinated against coronavirus.

The hospital says all physicians, nurses, college and support staff and contractors will need to be vaccinated.

However, limited exemptions or deferrals may be considered.

Right now, more than 80% of all Albany Med employees are fully vaccinated.

Employees must be fully vaccinated by October 1.
