Nearly two weeks ago, 15-year-old Destiny Greene was gunned down in Albany.

The Shaker High teen died on Wilbur Street.

Right now, police continue to look for a suspect.

On Wednesday, Destiny’s family and loved ones will say their goodbyes.

Services will be taking place at the Elijah Missionary Church on Second Avenue in Albany. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A service will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The bishop of the church has described Destiny as energetic, someone who wanted to learn everything, and multitalented.

On Sunday, the North Colonie School District will hold a vigil for Destiny. The vigil begins at 8 p.m.

A GoFundMe page that was set up for her family has raised more than $27,000.

The city of Albany saw six homicides during the month of May alone, and has increased police patrols in the city in the wake of the violence.
