Albany police make arrest in connection with Madison Avenue homicide

An Albany man has been arrested in connection with a homicide from March of last year.
Darius Cokely, 21, is charged with second degree murder.
Police say he stabbed 22-year-old Maurice Skeen in the torso during a fight on Madison Avenue, near New Scotland Avenue, back on March 13, 2020. Skeen was later pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center.
Cokely was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail.
