ALBANY – Students in the Albany City School District are back in the classroom, after two weeks of at-home learning because of staffing shortages tied to COVID.

With the return to school, there are some changes to COVID protocols.

Quarantine time for pre-kindergarten remains at 10 days, but it has changed to five days for all other students.

The district will also continue to offer in-person COVID testing each weekday at six district buildings and rapid COVID tests are available at every school.
